ELITE GBT 851. THE CONCEPT.
The ELITE model GBT 851 is our most advanced automatic CNC sides grinding machine for circular saws with tungsten carbide teeth from ø100 to ø850 mm. It is similar to the GBT 850 but with 1 more CNC axis and automatic measuring systems which allows the machine to be fully automatic in each adjustment of the tooth geometry, counting a total of 5 CNC axis.
This version is equipped with a double grinding wheel and its CNC operation with a 10.1" color LCD screen allows precise and fast sharpening of the tooth sides to manufacture carbide circular saws or repair recently welded teeth when replacing them.
ELITE GBT 851. HOW IT WORKS
Very simple programming through a guided menu or entering grinding data.
Fully automatic operation using 5 CNC axis:
- A: Tooth pitch
- X: Sharpening path
- Y1: Left tooth side angle of wheel No. 1
- Y2: Right tooth side angle of wheel No. 2
- Z: Tooth cutting angle
Fully enclosed enclosure for silent operation with a very fast door opening system that guarantees quick mounting of the saw blade and access door for maintenance.
Saw diameter from ø100 to ø850 mm, for grinding the sides of scoring saws of portable machines as well as sawmill saws.

Easy to use control panel
The control panel incorporates a color touch screen. This screen has been designed with a fast and easy-to-use interface that makes it very user-friendly. It is also possible to create or edit a program while the machine is running.
The machine includes a LED cabin light as standard.

The color touch screen control panel allows creation or editing of a program while the machine is working on another program. Among the programmable values are:
- Tooth angle programming: The grinding wheel axis will automatically move to the value entered in the program.
- Sharpening path
- Sharpening load

- Indexing movement of the tooth feeding pawl
- Number of teeth
- Broken teeth
Grinding wheel rotation speed variable from 5.000 to 9.000 RPM
The direct grinding wheel spindles are adjustable between 5,000 to 9,000 RPM for optimal sharpening quality with minimal grinding wheel wear.
The spindles are driven by a frequency inverter, so you can adjust the grinding wheel speed to the optimal value as well as reduce energy consumption.
Integrated refrigeration equipment
Machine operates with water-soluble coolant or grinding oil for better sharpening quality and longer grinding wheel life.
Integrated coolant system with 220-liter tank and removable grates for easy cleaning.
Easy access and maintenance
At the back of the machine we find the electrical panel at the bottom and the mechanical system at the top, both protected by their corresponding easy-access panel, which also reduces the total space needed for the machine.
